JAN MERRYFIELD

Jan has been working with glass for more than 30 years.  She started making stained glass windows for homes and businesses while living in Irvine, California.  Then about ten years ago after she moved to Laguna Niguel, Jan took a fused glass class to learn to make jewelry and dishes.  It was in that class that her passion for fused glass sculptures ignited.  She took the premise of three-dimensional glass sculptures into making the lovely underwater scenes that she creates.  Fused glass has become a focus and passion for the past seven years.

Jan's love of the ocean, swimming and her many exciting snorkeling experiences have led her to making her underwater scenes featured in her art today.

Custom size and color preferences can be special ordered.  Jan will work with potential buyers to find the right size and color combinations desired.  The buyer can decide whether a table sculpture or a wall mounted sculpture would be preferable...possibly both.
